Three Beautiful Brunch Recipes

In the springtime, my church women’s group always had brunches. There were lots of women, so there was lots of food. We were selective about what we brought, as it wasn’t exactly potluck. There was a menu. So, naturally, this took a lot of planning! But it was always worth it and our husbands were pleased because we brought the leftovers. Along with that, there were also new recipes that we would trade with each other, sometimes. But they were not always from the same church. …

Good for what ales you. For real!

Chicken soup has been a go-to for years. There’s a reason for that! Actually, it’s the added vegetables that enhance the flavor of the soup while adding much-needed nutrients. Any of these vegetables like asparagus, broccoli, corn, lima beans, mushrooms, green peas, and sweet potatoes, just to name a few, are what gives chicken soup vitamins A and C plus some iron and other minerals. That’s why you always feel a little better after you eat it. Plus, it is major comfort food on a cold night in front of a nice fire.

I took some home to my family, and they did not share my enthusiasm for them, but that evening I had a caroling party at my house, and my guests loved them and couldn’t believe that I hadn’t made them. So, I got busy looking for a recipe. While quickly discovering that there are a ton of recipes out there for peppermint chocolate chip cookies, I couldn’t seem to find one that did not have a lot of…

The little idea that made a phenomenon around the World!

Tom Cruise shines; Spoiler alert!! If you haven’t seen the movie yet you might not want to read this! Don’t worry I won’t give away the ending!

The movie itself leaves a lot to be desired but, Tom Cruise usually does most of his own stunts and I have never been disappointed. The middle of the movie, though, I gotta say, was quite sad in the fact that when they met the old rendition of…
